CyberCX elevates partnership with Collingwood Football Club ahead of AFLW season

Melbourne, Australia – Friday 14 August 2026

CyberCX, part of Accenture, has expanded its multi-year partnership with Collingwood Football Club, extending its Major Partnership to the Club’s AFL Women’s (AFLW) team.

The partnership will see CyberCX become the ‘Coaches Partner’ for the AFLW team. The CyberCX brand will appear across the 12-round fixture, including on coaches’ apparel, static and digital signage at home games and broadcast coverage.

Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly said: “The CyberCX team have been invaluable partners over the past two years, helping us navigate the rapidly evolving cyber security environment.

“The partnership has created new opportunities for growth and strengthened our presence in the marketplace and now we are excited to have them join our AFLW program as our Official Coaches Partner.

“The CyberCX team helps us connect, grow and innovate all while ensuring we stay secure. Their commitment to strengthening our cyber security is mission critical for the Club.”

CyberCX CEO John Paitaridis said: “Cyber security is all about working as a team to secure our communities and at its core, the same teamwork, trust and shared purpose is why we are so proud to support Collingwood Football Club’s AFLW team. CyberCX is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, and we are proud to be supporting the growth of women’s sport in Australia.”

“Cyber criminals are relentlessly targeting organisations every day, and sport is in the crosshairs. Sporting codes and clubs are increasingly attractive targets for cyber criminals to exploit, with large membership bases and sensitive data.

CyberCX’s 2026 Hack Report revealed that around one in three security assessments we perform contain at least one severe finding – a concerning number that must be reduced to stay ahead of cyber threats. We must get on the front foot to strengthen cyber resilience across the sporting sector in Australia.”

CyberCX is a Major Partner to the Collingwood Football Club, and has spent more than two years as the Official Cyber Security Partner of the Club, helping strengthen its cyber defences by providing 24/7 monitoring of the Club’s environment through sovereign Security Operations Centre (SOC) services to detect threats. Across all levels of the organisation, CyberCX has uplifted cyber security awareness and capability, and conducted security tests for internal and external networks.

The partnership with Collingwood Football Club forms part of CyberCX’s broader commitment and continued investment to strengthen the cyber defences of the sporting sector. Recently, CyberCX secured a landmark strategic partnership with the Australian Football League, and marked its fourth year as the Official Cyber Security Partner of the Australian Open.
